"Kühle Selbstinszenierung" – Zum Höhepunkt der Eighties fragte sich die kühlblonde Stilikone Nico, "...what costume shall the poor girl wear to all tomorrow`s parties", pünktlich zum Remake der Codes jener Zeit gibt die Herbst/Winterkollektion 2011 von Pitour die ultimative Antwort: Inszenierung ist alles. Obwohl die Entwürfe einer strengen Linie folgen und wie Architektur am Körper wirken, ist jedes einzelne Teil nahezu beliebig interpretierbar und lädt zum Selbstkomponieren ein. Es kann gewickelt und mittels multipler Verschlüsse so angeordnet werden, wie es der Moment erfordert. Drapierungen entstehen, Details werden sichtbar. Dezitiert eingesetzte Paspeln und asymmetrische Applikationen erhöhen den Effekt. Die Farben sind düster leuchtend, über jedem Gelb und Rot liegt ein Schatten, die Blaus spielen zwischen Mitternacht, kühlem Stahlblau und Firneis, Nude wird mit Schwarz kombiniert. Damit liefert Pitour einmal mehr eine Momentaufnahme des aktuellen Styles, die perfekt zwischen Business und Party platziert ist. Und ps. an Nico: it`s affordable even for the poor girl.

And yes, it`s a few years ago but here come the ultimate answer: perfect peachiness and shifting shapes. Even though the designs are quite straight and architectural every single piece can be interpreted and combined user-defined in various ways. It`s all about wrapping, adjusting, draping – so details such as pipings and asymmetric appliqués (dis)appear and entain more effects. Dusky-bright colours are dominant: shady Yellow and Red, blue tones ranging from midnight to steel and ice, Nude is combined with Black. Therewith Maria Oberfrank`s label Pitour once more demonstrates a precise “snap-shot of today`s style” which is perferctly placed between business and party. And ps. to Nico: it`s affordable even for the poor girl.
